Some of you may have seen these photos but I wanted to get them into our gallery.
Robb Bennett and Marsha Sterling were married in Negril, Jamaica on March 23. We had an amazing time in Jamaica; it’s so hard not too…
Marsha and I have been working our butts off in our front yard. I moved some trees around and we ripped out everything and started from scratch. We still have a few more plants to add but I think it’s looking great.
Marsha and I had a great time hiking at Stone Mountain Park yesterday. There’s a huge carving on the side of the mountain that is amazing. The Memorial Carving depicts three Confederate heroes of the Civil War: Confederate President Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee and Lt. General Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson. The mountain is 825 feet tall and covers 583 acres. The top of the mountain is 1,683 feet above sea level. The entire carved surface of the Memorial Carving measures three acres, larger than a football field. The carving of the three men towers 400 feet above the ground, measures 90 by 190 feet, and is recessed 42 feet into the mountain. The deepest point of the carving is at Lee’s elbow, which is 12 feet to the mountain’s surface.
Peace,
Robb
